Steam Bath Faq's
1. Operation: Operation of a steam bath is easy straight forward controls are located inside or outside the steam room the temperature is easily controlled.
2. Space Considerations: A steam bath can replace your existing shower-tub combination while retaining the punctuality of the shower and tub.
3. Aromatherapy: aromatherapy oils can be used with a steam bath a spot on the steam head allows oils to be used.
4. Benefits: The benefits of a steam bath include help with sleep disorders, chapped or dry skin, muscle tension and is great for the skin.
5. How to take a steam bath:
Shower First Do not take a steam bath for over 20 minutes. Exit the steam bath if you feel uncomfortable or become sleepy. Make sure you are not allergic to any aromatherapy oils before use.
6. Water Consideration: Water usage is minor a typical 20 minute steam bath only uses about 2 quarts of water.
7. Hard Water:If you have hard water you may want to install a water softener to eliminate the hard water deposits from the team bath generator and the steam bath room.
8. Alcohol: Do not use alcohol prior to or during a steam bath, alcohols can cause drowsiness and or the ability to determined the effects of the steam bath.
9. Electrical Requirements: 120 volt and 240 volt systems are available large or stone type steam baths should use the 240 volt system. 120 volt steam generators are good for small acrylic steam baths.
10. Cautions: The steam vent and the steam exiting the steam vent is 212 degrees it will scald you.
